Lonnie and Robert was great. I had most furniture wrapped and they worked hard to stay within my 1hr 1/2 time limit. They transported everything to my 2nd floor storage and was done 10 min before my time was out. I will use them again. Joann in customer service was great as well.
They made me sign a form that said all was okay. I should have waited till I did a more through inspection: they gauged walls trying to get a piece of furniture in a room and didn't say anything. ADDITIONALLY, the Grandfather clock is not working right. It is supposed to have three different chime settings and one silent. For two days it was stuck on silent. It chimes now but not all the time so the three weights do not progress evenly. This clock is an antique that I inherited and would cost a fortune for me to have a clock specialist take a look at it.
The movers were great, hard working and polite. We told them what we needed and the helped us achieve it. I hope I don't have to move again, but I would definitely use their services again. Thank you!
I am so thankful that I moved most of the drawers and breakable items on my own. IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING YOU REALLY VALUE DON'T LET THEM MOVE IT FOR YOU!
The movers had great communication. The office called periodically to give me updates on the estimated arrival time and then the truck called me 15 minutes before. Great price, on-time, no fuss. Very happy!
I had taken all the drawers of all the dressers and armoire over ahead of time so the furniture was a lot easier to move. Still, they charged me an additional $82.50 to drive 2.6 miles in addition to the original amount quoted. (I was warned by another moving company that they would do this but I had already hired them.)
Continuation of a previous post (I don't see my original so I'll rehash some.) They were no better than having a bunch of friends help move and they were supposed to be professional movers. When I made the appointment I told the lady I had a Grandfather clock but when they came, they did not treat it any differently: most movers have special packaging for clocks. I also warned them about the bumps in the road at the community but they ignored that and a glass panel came out of the clock. The one guy fixed it but that should not have happened. They also set a buffet on its side and broke a piece of wood off -- the guy pounded it back in (he told me he used the box with Grandfather weights to pound it down!) but it needs glued.
ALSO, the ONE thing I did not take drawers out ahead of time was those in a small desk. They told me that was okay and it was not too heavy. Little did I know that they were going to turn this on its side too! I had a hard time opening the drawers because everything was tossed in the move.
Was very pleased with this company. Movers were very friendly and fast. Had a game plan to excute move successfully. Removed my old furniture and brought to the dumpster. Brought the new furniture upstairs wrapped and carefully not damge furniture, doors, walls etc. I would recommend this company and will use them again.
